Female Founders Collective Series Starting Next Friday
Female founders’ voices will be heard. With Empire Life publishing our first book in Jan 2021, we have already filled most of the spots for Female Founders to be published there and here in the blog. We have a few spots left. Make sure to contact us here or comment on the blog to inquire about being published in the book and here on the blog.
We are publishing stories of female founders rising to their personal success in the book, series 1. The intention of the book is to inspire millions of women to see what it looks and feels like to live on our own terms, in our own success, and the rising of the ashes to the Phoenix. Every woman has a personally powerful story to tell and we desire to publish them! Each woman’s story is unique and only she can tell it.
Next Friday we will kick off the Female Founders Collective Series with an excerpt from Megan Corey’s story in the blog. Everyone will be able to read the full story in the book in Jan 2021.

All negative emotions have a root in our own negative assessment of our self as being the reason or the cause of something “bad”.
I like that you are all about empathy in your blogs. We need more empathy. Empathy only survives when we are brave enough to be vulnerable and to care for each other more deeply and see the whole picture. That’s my opinion. Good job Empire Life.

No wonder everyone loves this blog. I’m speechless.
You all are my heros
You are a beautiful and wise soul, Empire Life. Thank you for giving voice to such an important and soulful topic.
Amen sister! and really enjoyed the info. Very accurate even though it was brief.
Well presented, it’s lovely. I believe it.
We all need to hear these things as they remind us of what we really are: insecure, self-doubting human beings with a HUGE lack of self worth.
These women are awesome..so real. gratitude
Being vulnerable is being brave, thank you guys for publishing these women!
I just have to find a way and place… It would be a mixture of talks, Workshops, Music, theatre, film and art – I have so many ideas and even more Things I would love to find out…
Empathy is nobody’s priority. That’s why it’s so needed.
Dang! This is so good!
I fear so often that I’m not worthy to be here, working on this.
I love how you are displaying women’s voices here!
One of my favorite quotes: “Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change”
It is my favorite blog, to date. Thank you.

Commenting on a blog is an art. Good comments create relations. You’re doing great work. Keep it up.
Empire Life is really is a gift to all people in one & people seeking a healthy relationship too. Amazing!
Empire Life’s work is groundbreaking…Love your work you shares with the world.
In other words, we replace God with an imperfect, limited human being. I think this is a very important and happy to read these stories soon in the book and here in the blog.
“The Quality of our Relationships determines the Quality of our Life” yes, so happy you guys are publishing a book.
I’m inspired. You cuts through the bullshit without being cutting. So cool.
This is incredible! I stumbled upon this blog and can’t stop reading now 🙂
Relationships, people, they are your story. Write well. And edit often.
I’m only 23 and I’m so grateful I stumbled upon this blog about a year ago, before entering adulthood for real.
This blog is a gift to us all.
Being vulnerable is being brave!
Empathy only survives when we are brave enough to be vulnerable and to care for each other more deeply and see the whole picture. That’s my opinion. Loving this blog!
It taps into their own vulnerability. I never used to understand why I cried at flamenco gigs! One dancer spotted me and afterwards she ran over and hugged me so much! She was so moved by my being moved.
I appreciated this blog, this inspires you to do this, and so happy about it.
I love this blog. Clearly explained and to the point. Thanks
Thanks 🎉
Thanks for all the experience, I recommend your blog, Allison, have an excellent day!
Thank you for sharing!
Love it, Empire Life. Thanx for your tipps!
Reading the book, redefine, and loving it! Also, to get my creative juices flowing…I love drinking a lot of water! Water is the source of my creativity at times literally.
Great tips Allison!!!! ❤
I loved this and wanted to share that I make sure my mindset is right when I wake up. Like before I take off my eye mask. And I’m adamant about not using blue light after sunset every night. Only yellow salt lamps are allowed!
Thanks for the tips! ❤ I try to make my house it’s bright and airy and a positive and uplifting place.
Loving reading your new book! I get some of my best copy ideas when I’m walking the dog and listening to my fave podcasts so always stop to take notes on my phD.
Thank you for featuring all these women! Something I like to do as a female founder is – I dictate ideas to my notes app on walks.
I don’t walk around when I’m working !
But a full song dance 💃 break is my weird thing to do for move the energy around.
Love the article. Adding to this article!
OMG!! Totally 100% great advice it’s so correct!
Always great life and business tips from you. Bless you 📝🙏!
Hi!
Thank you for useful article about female founders!
Kind Regards,
kadın sitesi
Gosh I love this blog!
I have followed & listened to Empire Life for years!
I have bought the book, REDEFINE, and have read all of it!
And this morning I listened to your latest podcast episode!
Loving this blog, I got your book too. Female founder quick snippet – I personally don’t take any meetings before 10am and I don’t check email before 10am. That way the brain is refreshed and my productivity is very high before anyone can derail it.
Quick tips for the female founders here: Everything I do work-wise is on the computer, so my productivity hack is to get away from all screens as much as possible. This means I’ve vastly reduced my social media time, don’t watch TV at all, only watch a few series at, like, an episode a week, and force myself to get up and take a walk or do something in the garden or around the house several times a day. Works for me!
Love helping entrepreneurs bring their business online.
I’m an artist and I work from home and I keep a pole in my studio and when I feel myself hitting a mental wall, feel anxious, need to work out some ideas, whatever it is… I take a dance break 🙂
This was so hilarious, fun, and totally relatable! Muchas gracias chica!!❤
Oh God.. thank you for writing this, as a female founder myself I love your blog! That’s exactly ME. All this time I think I’m bloody lazy 🙈 it seems I just normal ❤🥳!
I never start my day without my hour-long walk! It keeps me on track, wakes me up, helps me focus on what I need to do for that day, and helps me remember that I’ve come a LONG way and I need to keep going! 🙂
Allison!!!! I love this. Two thing I never do as a female founder: 1: Check my phone first thing in the morning. That’s my time for morning practice, working out and doing the deep work.
2: I don’t SCROLL! I never just go to fb of IG and scroll through the feed. The little I go on socials, I very intentionally select what I do while on there.
Lastly, hot tip: 🤟🏼If you love walking around I can highly recommend getting a *treadmill desk*. This way, your hands are free to type, and you get the energy flowing too.
Aw thanks Empire Life – I was so inspired by this amazing blog article that I blogged about it on my companies blog. Feeling the sunshine today!
As a former very keen Empire Lifer, I was keen to re-connect with Ms. Allison Ramsey’s work. Right at the very, very, very end of Covid and the very end of the earth here in Sydney, Australia, I actually got Covid. I have been wrong-footed by the general malaise and ennui that having Covid has left me with. Nothing seemed like fun. I tuned in here, and have been reading your blog posts and indeed I am the sky. But the sky was completely covered in grey – not a hint of blue any where. It was such a great reminder to me – this is how I am feeling now, but there’s blue sky above it. Thanks for this insightful blog post Allison, great to read about Empire Life’s new book and work! I’m starting to feel hopeful!
Love!
I had a lot of similar experiences and loved this article.
Thanks for this one Empire Life, ordered the book!
Incredible article, I had great joy in reading this. Have already ordered the book!
Many of these things are not problems that we have to solve, but these are paradoxes that we have to manage. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this
Now, This is what I’m talking about. 🙂 Marketing or Sales are really good career. If you work hard there’s a high reward. 🙂
Now, This is what I’m talking about. 🙂 Marketing or Sales are really good career. If you work hard there’s a high reward. 🙂
Amazing content and valuable information.
If you need to succeed at selling, it’s essential to imitate the attributes of the individuals who preceded you.
Great marketing is at heart of business success. As author and marketing master Seth Godin once said: marketing is a competition for people’s attention.
Many thanks! When I put a lot of effort into creating a product, it’s hard to think about marketing as well. And your advice helps me a lot in this difficult matter.
My dream is to be enlightened one day and to know the power of human potential and how it can serve others in a fruitful and happy life.
I am truly impressed by the content; these is some valuable things to keep in mind for every business person.
I love this, thank you!
A big thank you for this article. So many great insights and truths. I love your enthusiasm which is very contagious.
Biggest insight: stories sell.
Even the best wine in the world needs a story to make the consumer experience the best it can be. People buy off people and stories sell.
It’s changing my life.
Reading and watching you demonstrate the principles you’re talking about is super helpful! Seeing the tips in action added so much clarity – thank you!
I need you in my life! ❤ I almost cried watching this as it truly spoke to me.
Thank you so much
❤🙏🏼🥰
This is so on point. Healthy businesses are profitable and when they’re profitable they can do good work in the world, create jobs, and create products that make a difference.
Love your articles! It’s a great reminder to get focused back on the basics and not be so consumed with the details.
YES! Customers are who we serve and targeting the right customers for your business is key. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with the community.
I’m so grateful for this article.
the right customers is SO on point! It creates a win:win for your business and your clients.
I have your lessons in your brain every time I am writing! headlines, tours, blogs & even emails x x x
I need to rewire my brain now. ☹️ Thanks for the reminder Allison!
2 Big Take Aways:
-Facts tell and stories sell!
-Putting myself in the shoes of my IC (WIIFM) was my big takeaway.
my two cents…you aren’t failing! and if visualizations (5 mins a day, like an athlete) haven’t work, then try hypnosis!
I’m “STILL” working on this.
It’s making me excited about community again.
“What’s in it for them?!” It’s perfect. Love it. And I have The Empire Life Book, Redefine! Love it. It’s the bomb. 👏🏻💓
Thank you, Allison!
I’m going to rethink everything with these three amazing points in mind. Thank you!!!
Sometimes reminders go a long way.
I was inspired by the whole message. However, facts tell and stories sell just clicked a lightbulb on for me. DUH…we all tell stories in one form or another, it makes perfect sense to me.
All of it was awesome! I need to read over and over till it sinks in.
Thanks as always Allison.
Loving ya’ll at Empire Life.
Thanks, Allison! I’m off to think a bit more deeply about this topic.
shift the spotlight to your customer, so checking out that article from you, after this 😉
I cannot even summarise all my aha moments here, and want to say one big thank you, Allison and Empire Life Team <3
So share those tales and let the customer pick out the nuggets of truth that resonate for them. <3
Thanks for this wonderful topic that you share Allison.
Really appreciate this topic. Keep it up 🙂
Simply adore you for what you are DOING. Always love listening to your article and read the books you suggest. Stay Truly Blessed and Happy. We really need you. You are doing an Awesome job 🤗🥳
I’m more definitive about my statements, expectations, and beliefs. It’s been an interesting experience.
BAM! That was some serious mic drops!
And indeed, once we better understand where those stories stem from, we can redefine them and start to live a better, healthier, and happier life. Goodnight to you 🙌🏼
This is a great new episode again. I learned a lot of things while listening to your conversation. Right now I’m browsing your other blogs.
A big thanks for this new blog of yours. I really appreciated this topic. 🙂
I need to remind myself that succumbing to the negative “labels” that others impose is relinquishing my power to them and that label. I’m a people pleaser to a fault, and maybe not pleasing everyone doesn’t make me a b17ch….it just means I’m taking care of myself first!
Thank you, Allison, your articles make my day!!
Thank you, I LOVED this article. We hear so much lately about the importance of telling the truth and living in truth, but in this article it becomes very clear how to do that! by taking the time to examine with total honesty what is our essence and committing to letting go of all that is not.
Get comfortable being complete in me. That’s gold right there!
Love it. Love it. Love it.
💕💕💕
Everything… so important.
Thank you, Allison. Thank you, Empire Life!
Best wishes 😘😘🙏
DIVORCE is not a failure it is a learning experience in every way! That is a great reminder!
This was incredible! “Growth is a subtractive process”
This article is amazing. I am always fearful of saying the wrong thing. It actually paralyzes me sometimes. I have been noticing that my husband can say the same things I do, and people laugh or comment. With me, there’s a different take. So, I keep quiet. But, I will relook at this. And the whole Empire Life team of incredible women, stay there for all of us, even we older ladies. Thanks for all you do. Barbara
Hi Allison. I have been a huge fan of yours. Love your energy, enthusiasm, and that impeccable professionalism.
Humbled and grateful for this article.
I always thought to myself I will have a deep regret not leave this relationship when I was still young.
We are our own oppressors. We have learned how to oppress ourselves we no longer need others to help! That landed…
I have been unplugging from roles and creating space in relationships: breathing and asking how they mirror me? What power, anger, fear or greed is demonstrated? Also what love, wisdom, consideration or creativity?
Also created an emotionally and physically safe home for myself. Four years later, the first time where I feel like I am on vacation in my own home by myself! Ever! Just playing, putzing, sewing, whatever comes up.
I even tried visualizing surfing (which I have never done) and felt free and sun-kissed and I didn’t have to leave my living room for that!
On vacation with myself and loving it.
Ciao Bella’s!
After this article finished I realized I was sitting up straighter in my chair and felt very empowered. Thank you.
The essence of our real self.
I am an artist and have always felt like an outsider, not wanting to follow what seemed the comfortable path of “normality”, wanting to find the truth within myself.
This article is an aha moment all the way through.
I want to thank both of you for being such beautiful souls.
Thank you so much for this . . . thank you Allison and you are truly beautiful, inside and out.
“keep it simple” I love this and I am practicing simple living.
It has nothing to do with the other person and all to do with our own awakening into wholeness. I will sit in it (the pain, the joy, the anger) whatever it is I am going through or feeling and say to myself “what can I learn from this with fresh eyes”. I love everything about You! Your emails! Your podcasts/vlogs, and articles! You supporting others! I even love that you dance 💃
Thank you Allison with huge hugs,
Mary
I am by nature a disruptor and troublemaker … calling “truths, of truths” and gossip out. So great to be introduced to so many powerful & inspirational women through Empire Life! Thank you!!
You put emphasis on purpose, passion, and serving others with beautiful truth. Thank you!!!
“There is no end goal to being good.” This hit me like a ton of bricks! I’ve always tried to be the “good girl” and it’s exhausting! Thank you for sharing this with the world!
This conversation has resonated with me on many levels. I am going through a divorce since my husband has changed so dramatically during COVID. I believe he is going through a transformation of where he was always a nice person (which must be what he learned as a child to be) to now wanting to break free from that. Of course, that is unfortunate for me but I am learning to accept that his journey has little to do with me and our relationship. I also feel that I have been struggling with the idea of who am I now that I am no longer a wife, a mother (child is graduating college), etc. and I agree with so much of what you shared today. Thank you.
I read this yesterday and again today. The article really spoke to me loud and clearly and I know it’s because instinctively I feel I have come to a place in my life where I am ready for change and understand the significance of the message.
Great article again. Thank you for sharing this one. 🙂
This was exactly what I needed today. I have been struggling with changes and this episode helped me sort through and name what is going on with me lately.
Thank you so much!
‘Stay with it’ and only leave from a place of wholeness! This was profound.
What an interesting article. I can’t also help thinking that there is also a balance of good things that have come out of the messages of our upbringing, after all, it was our learning environment for who we are. It’s a great call to question our self validity and to examine whether consciously or unconsciously we made too many ‘wrong’ choices in which messages we chose to respond to – particularly hard in toxic environments where positive options were silenced.
A POWERFUL article, I wish every young woman would read this!
I am so grateful every day for the courage I have and for allowing myself to be untamed!💕
OMG, you touched up on so many levels!!!
YASSSSSSSSSSS!!! ’tis all 🙂
This is awesome; will need to get the book. I wish I’d have heard this when going thru my own ‘awakening and emergence’ which would have helped me – and perhaps my kids – have an easier time through that process.
“It has nothing to do with the other person, and all to do with our awakening into wholeness.” Beautiful.
Thank you again to Empire Life, and Empire Life Team for bringing so much light into the world. ❤❤❤
Thank you Allison and Empire Life for bringing this episode! Allison, so many of your articles hit home but this one hit every room in my house.
All of this resonated so deeply with me. I love the end with the patriarchy we carry as women and the cultural expectations. Thank you for bringing this into the light!!
“This is not the way to worth.”
Mic Drop.
This was great. I would love to know more about how to build self-worth.
Thank you, Allison. I have no words: I am grateful to you…
I really appreciate your courage, your grace, your power, your vulnerability, and the organizational skills which you bring to bear, in order to benefit all of us who share this path with you.
Wow! This is my new favorite article. Every little step I take, away from the false self, moves me closer to my authentic self. I call the process a remembering.
Thank you Allison and Empire Life.
Just wanted to share with all you ladies the meaning of B.I.T.C.H – Once long ago I read the meaning…
BABE
IN
TOTAL
CONTROL of
HERSELF. I am honored and I smile when I am called such a name.
I also learned that when someone is mean to me, they have bigger problems so I should just wipe the dust and forget about their insults. Send a good thought to the person that is suffering and continue the journey, my time is mine and should not be wasted on someone else’s frustration unless they ask for help.
I have always been a loner, I do not follow the crowds, I go my way. I find that following social standards is so exhausting that I just can’t do it. The pandemic hit hard removing the little “social time at work” with remote work and virtual people; I found a furry soul to fill out that loneliness and now I not only found the company on her, but my filters are also growing and they are stronger, and I am never judged.
Thank you this! My only regret was that I didn’t have a notebook to write down all of the wisdom nuggets!
I did however take the time to forward this article to every client I have! I sent it to my teenage daughters as well.
The messages contained in those 30 mins are profound!
As always thank you!
All the best!
We need to rise up and be who we were created to be. This is a process both women and men need to embrace. That path is for your steps alone. Many thanks to you.
Thought-provoking and insightful article.
So glad I enjoyed this article with Empire Life!
Every woman needs to watch this. Oppression is internalized in so many ways and if we are now oppressing ourselves, we can also change the script. Very empowering thank you!
This article is great and very true. I’ve lived a life devoted to authenticity, to celebrating my true self (I’m a visual artist, a painter).
Your influence on me amplifies my ability to be my best self!
WOW.
This is the greatest gift one can give thy self. Shedding our weight off mentally, physically, spiritually all of it. Digging deep into who the hell are we? facing our not-so-glam shot. having hard conversations. healing and then rediscovering who is thereafter that. FREEING!
I needed this today. Just bought the Redefine book and I cannot wait to dive in. Thank you so much Empire Life!
Thank you Empire Life 💫 blessings
I stopped to be a people-pleaser this year, a good girl, or this perfect someone always ready to help and support others – and so often forgetting about my own needs, dreams and feelings. Thank you! I needed this perspective. Now I am ready to stop being perfect and hear this B… word or some other words with a smile.
Celebrate the progress you’ve made- we’re here for it.
I am very grateful for this article because it validates just how far I’ve come, how much I’ve learned, and how strong I’ve become.
There’s still tons of stuff left to work on, but that starting line is now but a dot in the rearview mirror. I’ve come a LONG way and can now say (and believe) that no, I’m nowhere near perfect, but I’m still pretty fucking amazing.
YES Empire Life!
Sending you loads of love to the Empire Life.
Much to look forward too!
I felt so much of this article. I have been trying to reflect and figure out how to pull myself out of the lost, frustrated, and overwhelmed feeling for over a year now.
Here’s hoping your “fine” areas become more and more “amazing”. We’ll be here cheering you on.
Thank you so very very very much for all that you do. My life is exponentially richer and more beautiful for having had you in it the past few years.
Much Love
Ava
Great revelation.
Superb action, taken 🙌🏽
Many thanks for this conversation.
Sade ☀️
Much thanks for the assurance!
This article came at the exact moment that I was feeling truly sucky about life.
Thank you for this powerful article ladies!!
Thank you for this and I start my day with here, Empire Life. We appreciate you all so much. xo
Break free from the crowd! Amen!
Excellent, thank you so much for sharing the power we need to find all inside, I begin my day so powerfully, all my best!
Empire Life is truly one of my sources of wisdom.
I never really understood the idea of “choose love not fear”, until I read this article. Thank you so much for sharing this wisdom!
Thanks for sharing!
What an amazing topic. Allison is a great speaker to hear. Because you will always learn new things from her. Thank you Empire Life!
Thanks for sharing this post. It was really inspiring.
This is great content! There is a lot of value in this article.
This article is just what I needed for inspiration and a reminder that my choices are made with intentions for my bigger picture and purpose on this earth.
I believe that if we have done the work to start acting from a place of love rather than fear, then we will be ready for anything that comes our way, by taking that pause to think about where our FEELINGS are coming from and making sure our REACTIONS to those feelings are coming from a place of LOVE. This is a part of taking responsibility and accountability for any actions we take.
This was inspiring. Thank you for sharing this article!
Because you a lot of ideas and you can always learn from you. 🙂
I’m looking forward to reading this new book. Thank you for another wonderful article.
Yay, Another great article. Looking forward to reading to future articles of you all. By the way, I just make a comment first cuz I was excited. 😛
Thank you so much for this artricle!!!
I loved this article, after reading just half of it I sent it to my husband, this is something I need to share!!
This article touched on everything I’ve been pondering and considering lately, but he shed light and provided clarity through his perspective. It’s further “proof” to me that I am where I am supposed to be and am learning what I need to learn. I really needed the reminder about being conscious of the motivation behind my actions and desires. When we are conscious, we can choose where we put our power.
This really helped me today.
Very transformational information.
Empire Life Team, thanks for the article. I had to read twice and I even downloaded the transcript to read and highlight – helps me cement the thoughts.
Such a good reminder <3 And I love that this blog about what makes us feel really strong and filled up – letting that guide us! And again, another reminder of that 'cognitive fuel' – I wish they had covered this in my Masters in Neuroscience because it's so useful to be aware of the ebb and flow.
I’m definitely learning to do this — to follow my inner compass and remember that saying no to one thing automatically says yes to others (the ones I want to prioritize)!
This blog was filled with wisdom and concrete actions for me to take. Thanks to you! Have a safe and powerful journey.
Not only a great blog, but great wisdom in the answers.
Such an impactful blog today!
Wow! I loved it! It makes so much sense that we are the most productive for 3-5 hrs a day and when we push beyond, that’s exhaustion.
Fabulous advice, I’m in refocus mode. Love professional disapointer.
During my morning meditation, I’ve asked myself “how do you want to feel, Katia” and the straightforward answer was “grounded and creative”. After this blog, I just want to jump up and down from the joy, and share with every single human being the wisdom of Allison’s words! So many insights and validation 🙏🏽💓🌟
Thank you, Allison, for your blogs!
Loved this topic and insight in the blog! This was a perfect way to start my morning!
Spot on blog! This is so good.
Thank you!
Fantastic blog! Since last July I’ve been struggling with an unexpected separation from my husband of 30 years. I was in the middle of getting my health coaching certification when he left. I froze. The guilt and inadequacy I felt because I didn’t have the emotional bandwidth to pursue my new career path was overwhelming. I felt like I had to keep going and keep up and keep doing even though I knew I couldn’t. Thank you for the reminder that I can say no and be good with it.
Enjoyed this blog so much. You two are a sweet duo.
Impressive blog article!
Thank you!!
I am a professional disappointer and I will no longer feel bad about it!!
Thank you thank you, for sharing your experience and wisdom.
I found this very useful to read. What I truly needed to hear was the part about the 3-5 intensely productive hours on that limited fuel tank of cognitive energy. It’s given me ideas for how to work with that and protect that energy for what matters most. Amazing advice as always. <3 Thank you!
‘It’s so true… and hard… and easy… all of that’

Women coming together…is so good!
So very well presented! Exploring. Love it!!
It’s uncomfortable and new territory and I’m feeling more confident about stepping into my power this year. THANK YOU!
Thank you for this insight today. It comes at exactly the right time. I’m a teacher and business owner in Ohio and getting ready to restart the school year. I’ve been preparing myself to negotiate my time and location. After 20 years of teaching, I’m getting ready to retire this year and walk down the path of full time business ownership and writing. I’ve accumulated over 30 days in my personal sick/short term disability bank. I’ve been with the organization for going on 8 years now; I haven’t had to take many sick days off, and/or never used them for maternity leave. I also won’t be able to cash out on them when I leave the organization.
Thank you so much for this beautiful segment and keep up your great work Empire Life…the world needs you more than ever now!!!

Megan is superb! I loved her message, her warm and credible style of presenting and the way she brings heart and emotion to what’s often thought of as a “hard” business topic.
